I’m Danielle Baliva, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with over 6 years of experience working with individuals, families, adolescents, and children. I specialize in treating challenges such as depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and PTSD. My goal is to work collaboratively with my clients to improve coping skills, increase self-awareness, and empower them to reach their goals and achieve overall wellness.
I received my Master’s degree in Social Work from Roberts Wesleyan College, and I understand that beginning therapy can feel overwhelming. That’s why I prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust and respect. My approach is non-judgmental, compassionate, and honest, and I aim to create a safe space for open and meaningful dialogue.
In my practice, I utilize a variety of evidence-based modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), play therapy, trauma-informed practices, and mindfulness-based techniques.
