About
Danielle Baliva is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) who has over 6 years of professional experience working with individuals, families, adolescents, and children seeking treatment for a variety of challenges such as depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and PTSD. She strives to work collaboratively with her clients to improve coping skills, increase self-awareness, and empower them to reach their goals and achieve wellness.
She received her Master's degree in Social Work from Roberts Wesleyan College and understands that beginning therapy can be overwhelming. Therefore, she prioritizes fostering a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust and respect. Danielle's approach to therapy is non-judgmental, compassionate, and honest.
Danielle utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), play therapy, trauma-informed practices, and mindfulness-based practices to help her clients navigate challenges. She works together with her clients to find a modality that best meets their individual needs.
