My ideal clients are autistic adults who are searching for a therapist who understands what it's like to be autistic. Perhaps you've spent years trying to explain your experiences to well-meaning allistic therapists, hoping they would finally understand, only to leave feeling misunderstood or like you had to translate your autistic experience.
I am particularly well suited to work with autistic folx who have complex experiences that intersect with autism, including chronic health conditions (EDS, POTS, ME, etc.), ADHD, PDA, OCD, anxiety, depression, trauma (PTSD and cPTSD), and giftedness (2e).
As an AuDHD person myself, I offer radically affirming, autistic-centered support grounded in a deep understanding of the autistic experience. I only work with autistic folks and have spent years studying what it means to be autistic and how we can create lives that work better for us.
Being autistic in our world is deeply challenging, especially when you've had to navigate it without the support and understanding you truly needed. Therapy can provide a space where you are seen, understood, and supported.
