I help clients gain insight into their thoughts and behaviors to help process the past while also finding coping strategies to improve their day-to-day lives. To do this, I integrate different therapeutic modalities, including psychodynamic, person-centered, and cognitive behavioral therapy. I work with clients to identify and unravel negative thinking patterns that may be interfering with their lives and instead replace them with more positive beliefs. I primarily work with adults, helping them adapt and adjust to common life stressors such as work challenges, life transitions, and relationship issues.
My approach is collaborative and warm, balancing individualized care with evidence-based practices, all within a non-judgmental and empathetic environment. I have specialized training and experience supporting the LGBTQ+ community, including counseling at the Trevor Project and certification in writing letters of support for gender affirming procedures.
I am a limited permit holder with a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and experience providing counseling in healthcare settings, crisis settings, and private practice.
