My target populations are children, adolescents, and young adults. I am passionate about assisting these individuals to overcome struggles that commonly occur within these periods of development such as anxiety, depression, mood regulation, stress management, adjustment, school avoidance, and oppositional defiance. I help my clients to develop coping skills, build resilience, and engage in social skills training. I take into account the frequent co-morbidity between the aforementioned concerns and diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and other various Learning/Developmental Disabilities.
I am a Certified School Counselor in a therapeutic school setting, as well as a Certified Personal Trainer/Group Fitness Instructor. I treat my clients with the understanding that to achieve true wellness, at any age, individuals need a strong support system and to learn to effectively care for their physical and mental health.
Since my own adolescence, I have known that I wanted to work with individuals in the children to young adult age range to help them overcome the unique obstacles in these stages of development. I am eager to use my personal knowledge and experience in the fields of physical and mental health to help my clients develop healthy habits.
