As a seasoned therapist specializing in Elder Caregivers or Expats, I understand the challenges faced by both adult children and spouses as they navigate difficult decisions, working together with others, attending to relationships, and managing burnout. Together we examine expectations and grief. Grappling with a myriad of emotions, including guilt, stress, anger and uncertainty is supported through the safe therapy space. EMDR & IFS!
I provide a kind, calm, safe, and understanding environment with a Certificate in Gerontology and experience with Dementia. Through Internal Family Systems (Depth & Parts Work) we go back to the original wounds to understand our reactions and behaviors. EMDR somatic trauma work included. Individuals can make rational responses instead of knee jerk reactions.
