I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 5 years of experience in the mental health field. My primary focus is working with adults facing various challenges and seeking support in their lives. I specialize in a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship problems, stress, and major life transitions. I help clients develop coping strategies, explore patterns of thinking and behavior, and identify and modify unhelpful beliefs. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology, both from Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
In my therapeutic practice, I draw from various evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy. However, my overall approach to therapy is eclectic, allowing me to tailor treatment to the specific needs of each client.
