About
If you are struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma or work/family issues, and are ready for change, I believe I can help. I am a Stanford-trained Clinical Psychologist and MBA with extensive background in organizational leadership who specializes in working with adults motivated to improve their mood, functioning, and life satisfaction. I partner with each client to set individualized goals for a shared journey of recovery and growth in a supportive environment. I use evidence-based cognitive and behavioral therapies (CBT) to quickly reduce symptoms while yielding long-term gains in quality of life.
Therapy is usually a short-term, collaborative endeavor focused on the here and now. I show clients how to manage stressful situations and challenging interpersonal issues using tools that can be deployed effectively long after psychotherapy is concluded. With your commitment, these techniques can lead to greater happiness and fulfillment.
I have extensive expertise working with professionals in fast-paced, competitive industries. I am also trained in health psychology, which treats mental health conditions occurring in the context of chronic diseases. I embrace a multicultural approach to therapy and can offer services in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
