I am passionate about supporting children, teens, and adults through various personal challenges including issues related to culture, faith, or identity; anxiety; depression; trauma; stress or burnout; major life transitions and loss; hopelessness and thoughts of suicide; addiction recovery; the effects of shame and negative self-beliefs. I also focus on assisting couples and families in strengthening relationships, improving communication, building healthier boundaries, and enhancing parenting skills.
I've had the privilege of gaining experience in school-based mental health, substance use treatment, crisis intervention, and with veterans/active-duty service members. EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Play Therapy, Solution/Emotion Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy are the modalities that most strongly guide my approach.
