I believe counseling is a deeply personal space where you take the risk to explore internally what you need to grow and thrive, as well as explore the different pains that may get in the way of you changing. My counseling approach is client-centered, multicultural, and psychodynamic, which means If you choose to work with me I will tend to focus on how past relationships, experiences and cultural messages have shaped you as a person and have gotten you to where you are today. That way you can intentionally decide how you want to move forward and gain tools to make the changes that help improve your wellbeing and get you to thriving.
I am a Bilingual Chilean American psychologist with 10+ years of clinical experience and love to work in a variety of areas from depression, anxiety, family, relational concerns, grief, as well as trauma informed care.
