Working with children, individuals , adults, and couples are extremely rewarding. The process of watching my clients improve displays their dedication to therapy. Unfortunately there is no “quick fix “ and the process takes effort on both parts of a counseling relationship.
Offering support and teaching coping skills and cognitive restructuring helps my clients move forward with a healthy and positive attitude and view of life.
My calm demeaner and relaxed and positive view of life helps with building rapport and strong therapeutic relationships with my clients.
Utilizing the Humanistic (person centered) approach to counseling enables me to build strong therapeutic relationships allowing clients to feel at ease and comfortable sharing thoughts and emotions not previously expressed.
I have a very optimistic outlook and try to help clients recognize the positive things in our lives rather than the negative.
I care deeply about my clients and make myself available so no one is ever in distress without assistance.
I am flexible with scheduling and always try to schedule sessions at the best time for my clients.
