About
With 22 years of experience as a practicing clinical psychologist, I use a combination of psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral strategies to increase self-awareness and insight, and to develop and strengthen coping strategies and problem solving skills among my adolescent and adult clients. Utilizing a methodologically integrated approach, my aim is to help clients identify, understand and overcome obstacles to well-being and success in the domains of relationships, family, work and school.
After completing my bachelor's degree in Psychology at the University of Michigan, I earned both masters and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from the Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology at Widener University, graduating in 1998. I completed my post-doctoral work at the Elwyn Child and Adolescent Residential Treatment Program.
I am experienced in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD and relationship issues. My other areas of treatment specialization include adolescent and young adult psychology, coping with chronic illness and navigating divorce. I also have two decades of experience working with LGBTQ youth and adults.
