My career has focused on working with individuals, couples, and groups who are dealing with a wide variety of challenges including substance use, anxiety, depression, complex trauma, identity conflicts, and social isolation. The people I resonate best with are those who need help to better understand themselves and want structured support to work on making positive change in their lives. I enjoy supporting people in their own process, and recognize that we all come into this with our own unique story.
I offer 1:1 and couples therapy on many issues, specializing in addiction/recovery, risk reduction, and complex trauma. I've worked with a wide variety of people throughout my nearly 15 year career, some for as little as 1-2 sessions while others over many years. No one approach works for everyone - we'll collaborate to find what works best for you.
I'm someone who comes to this work because of my own struggles with addiction in my 20s. I found recovery through service work after several failed attempts, and decided to do this work professionally as a result. I care most about being a support to people in need, and my primary goal is to be someone you grow to trust.
