I have special expertise in working with men and couples regarding a host of parenthood-related concerns including infertility, divorce, marital concerns, communication issues, work/life balance, stress, and anger management. I provide a "guy-friendly" and effective counseling/coaching experience to engage men in treatment.
I take a structured and collaborative approach to treatment planning. After the initial evaluation session, I give my clients a clear road map for treatment which consists of specific goals and concrete techniques to meet those goals. Men's Process Group - Center for Men's Excellence
This ongoing group is for men with anxiety and/or depression who have trouble feeling isolated. Participants are high-functioning professionals who have difficulty sustaining close relationships, and sessions involve using the group as a type of "laboratory" to try out new ways of interacting with each other. Participants have regular out-of-session "homework" assignments which involve practicing some new behaviors designed to extend their comfort levels and to enhance their social support.
