Marriage & Family Therapist Intern, DMin, MA, LPC, LLMFT
So, "I love you", doesn't have much meaning? Worse, instead of romance you have guilt? Relationship problems bring self-doubt, loneliness, sadness, and worry. You (and your partner or spouse) may feel alone, but in therapy you are not alone. You can talk with someone who listens instead of giving advice. Therapists listen without pushing advice or making decisions for you. We join your quest for health even if that means walking a difficult path. Solutions emerge as you explore problems in a safe place. There is a hope and a future.
I have post-master's training through Oakland University's Couple and Family Therapy specialization. That training, plus eight years experience as a practitioner, has equipped me to hear you. My first wife died of Leukemia at age 36, which deepened my empathy for people with emotional hurts.
Don't have a babysitter? Infants are no problem and young children can bring headphones and electronics. We meet you where you are: loneliness, worries, affairs, grief and loss, survivors of childhood abuse. Please call or send an e-mail to set up your first appointment.
