Counselor and Life Coach. (Licensed in WA and AZ.) I began counseling young people as a para-pastoral counselor in 1970. I was later a student counselor at The Evergreen State College as an undergrad. I was a professional vocational counselor for 5 years while completing my MA. In my own private practice, I have been counseling married couples, families and individuals since 1996. I specialize in marriage and individual counseling and coaching across a wide range of emotional, behavioral and motivational issues. I am licensed in Washington State and am also counseling in my home state Arizona. My counseling services are virtual.
Over the years I have developed, and teach, a number of practical tools to empower the individual or married couple. These tools are components of an integrated, whole life perspective through which conflictive values, emotions and behaviors are more quickly identified and modified.
For potential clients, I have a weekly mental health radio show, "Sound Mind," aired in the greater Puget Sound (Washington) area. Podcasts from the show and publications pertinent to my experience and unique approach are found at my website.
