I have extensive experience with childhood trauma and abuse and have worked with many people with substance abuse, anger management, relationship difficulties, intimate partner violence, and other traumas.
My approach is relational, and client-centered; I use the treatment modality that seems to be most appropriate and effective given the presenting issues, be it cognitive-behavioral or acceptance/commitment. The streams converge in therapeutic practice, and I look to integrate my approach with the desires of the client.
