I work with children, adolescents, and adults who are experiencing depression, excessive worry and stress, obsessive thinking, and compulsive behaviors. I use innovative and evidence-based strategies that help facilitate mental wellness. I provide a program for children, adolescents, and young adults with mild autism/Asperger's Disorder that promotes improvement in perspective-taking and flexible thinking, while addressing social deficits and associated emotional-behavioral issues.
I specialize in systematic, cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT) and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy (EMDR). I provide short-term, individual therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma and other emotional challenges; group therapy for mild autism; and I am comfortable incorporating Christian faith into treatment.
Social and emotional difficulties are a part of life, and sometimes we need help working through the periodic rough patches or unhealthy life-long challenges. I encourage you to give me a call at my direct number to discuss setting an intake appointment.
