I offer a trauma informed approach to therapy which draws largely from training and experience with EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Emotional Freedom Technique. I also assist couples in developing a deeper sense of connection with each other, primarily through the use of Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT).
I provide a counseling relationship that fosters a sense of safety by: validating your experiences and perspectives, focusing on your strengths and successes, encouraging compassion for yourself and others, maintaining a kind and calm disposition and asking you questions that help to elicit self-awareness and insight.
