Mental health impacts us everyday, whether we're struggling or know someone who is. As a therapist, I aim to improve the lives of those seeking help, by offering individual, couple and group therapy. It is my goal to provide my clients with hope and encouragement, when they have none. My approach is to come along side my clients, and discover with them, the awareness and skills they need to prioritize, give clarity, make changes and improve their lives.
I specialize in working with men, and those they love, who are struggling with: Relationship Problems, Anger, Nurturing, Patience, Kindness, Depression, Low Self-Esteem, Discernment, and PTSD. I do this primarily through the use of EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Narrative Therapy.
Certified EMDR Therapist: Just as an antibiotic cream can help heal a cut, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) can help the brain's processing system, heal emotional wounds. My Sensorimotor Psychotherapy training, is based on the body/brain development that happens over a persons lifetime, effecting attachment and relationship.
