Most couples who find their way here have already tried talking it through — and keep ending up in the same place. The problem usually isn't effort or intention. It's that they're missing a framework built on what actually works. I'm a Gottman Method Level 3 practitioner with 15 years teaching communication at NYU Tisch. I work with couples navigating conflict, emotional distance, eroded trust, and affair recovery — and with individuals dealing with anxiety, burnout, and major life transitions.
Sessions are structured and direct. We identify what's driving the pattern, build specific skills to interrupt it, and track whether they're working. You'll know therapy is doing something because you'll be able to measure it — arguments that used to derail you for days start resolving faster, and the distance between you actually starts to shift.
I came to therapy after 15 years in the classroom at NYU, where I taught expository writing — which is really a study in how people communicate, what they mean versus what they say, and why some words land and others don't. That background shapes everything about how I work.
