I have expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorders & related conditions, behavioral challenges, Autism spectrum disorders & neurodiversity, bipolar spectrum disorders, depression and anxiety spectrum disorders, OCD, shyness, relational difficulties, and life transition challenges.
I most specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of ADD, AD/HD, spectrum issues, behavioral challenges, depression, and anxiety in children and adolescents, primarily boys. I utilize an eclectic cognitive-behavioral approach with an emphasis on best evidence-based practices. Unfortunately, my availability to new potential clients is limited at this time.
A native Minnesotan, I earned my B.A. in Psychology from Columbia University in 1985, two M.A. degrees, and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Southern California in 1991.
