About
I have the experience and expertise to help you feel better about yourself, improve your relationships with others. and meet school, work or retirement goals. I work in a direct, nonjudgemental manner. I offer empathy and understanding and patience. Feelings of low-self esteem and lack of confidence often stem from difficulties in childhood or present unhealthy relationships. Understanding the past and having compassion for oneself frees us to feel better about ourselves and others. Letting go of resentments and learning to accept ourselves and others is an important goal in therapy.
I have post-masters training in adult psychotherapy and addiction treatment. I incorporate 12 step principles in my work with clients with addictions.
It is difficult to begin therapy. To make it easier for you, I am available to speak with you on the phone about your needs and how I can help, before you make that first appointment,.
