Life comes at you fast, and does not come with instructions, or easy answers. I hope as a therapist to provide a safe, welcoming space in which we can wrestle with and struggle through difficulties together. My approach to therapy is to address a person’s current issues as well as to explore the life and person in which they are occurring. I believe a person is much more than their symptoms and struggles and I strive to genuinely know each client I work with in this holistic way. My aim is to help others find peace and meaning in their lives and to accompany them as they work to live in accordance to their own values and beliefs.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (7372). I’ve been in practice for a little more than 10 years. I work from a psychodynamic lens, helping clients explore the complexity of their inner world and history of experiences. My approach is growth-focused rather than goal-driven—centered on understanding, not quick fixes.
