I am a psychodynamic therapist trained in Berkeley, Calif., and primarily work from Object Relations and Control Mastery theories. I also incorporate the Japanese based Naikan psychotherapy and Mindfulness Meditation that may benefit from more of an Eastern approach in their treatment.
I am a traditionally trained and educated psychotherapist in the San Francisco Bay area with 2.5 years hospital based, inpatient psychiatric level experience. I have experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Supportive, and Short-term Solution Focused Therapy. I do request a current physical and labs or both completed within the past year.
When appropriate, I also use hypnosis and EMDR in my practice with a Cognitive Bevavioral focus. After the goals are identified, we work together to create a hypnosis CD specifically designed to meet your needs.
