About
Change is inevitable but the passageway to it is difficult to navigate alone. Psychotherapy is a collaborative effort between client and therapist to aid in that journey. This is achieved through a careful look at the ingredients in life that have resulted in a unique recipe for self-structure and patterning in each person. To change the recipe is to recalculate it's components, gradually sifting out past patterns that have led to disappointment or loss and replace them with others that lead to personal fulfillment. These patterns manifest themselves in work, personal and parenting concerns.
The discomfort of anxiety, anger, and isolation can be relearned---and I can help. It just takes a beginning....which is followed by knowledge, patience and---finally---understanding. But we CAN do it!
I hold specializations in group, family and couples therapy as well as a cerification in the unique patterns established in gay. lesbian, bisexual and transgender individuals.

Choosing Fulfillment
Through a process of both paired exercises and group discussion, patients are able to spotlight patterns and attitudes within them that are holding them back from relationship fulfillment. 10 weeks.
Out from Under
Loss comes in many forms: separating, divorce, death or even unternal changes can cause a sense of depression and sadness. This group is composed of individuals who are in the process of transitioning as a result of a loss. Beyond sharing experiences, it is dedicated to understanding what is happening inside the individual that is creating the crying, or sense of "stuck," fear or anger. Further, the group helps each other to identify and gently encourage the moving on process.
