About

The relationship between the client and your therapist is very important in therapy. This connection and trust are my top priority while working together. I will provide tailored treatment and encourage collaboration during the treatment process, and we can work on your progress together. Psychotherapy is viewed as a creative process between client and therapist. I have an extensive background in working with military, and veteran issues. Also of interest is sports performance. Former folk, and freestyle wrestler. Off time I like to join various brass bands as a Euphonium player. Former US Army-enlised, Naval Officer
My training is eclectic with backgrounds in Psychodynamic, (Interpersonal), Developmental, Attachment Theory, Trauma-focused, and family systems with training in several evidence-based therapy models, including PE, CPT, and CBT. I specialize in working with depression, anxiety, trauma, (in-particular military related trauma).
Psychotherapy is a non-linear process. I will value the uniqueness of each individual client and strive to create an environment of trust, compassion, respect and empathy. We will pace treatment to heal from possible painful memories that may have led to stuck feelings, negative thoughts, unhelpful patterns, distrust in others, or other difficulties.
