Perhaps you’ve done extensive talk therapy before. You can identify your patterns, explain your attachment style, trace your coping to childhood experiences, but still struggle to make real behavioral change. The part of the brain that holds these patterns isn’t just reached through insight, but through experience and emotion. I work with individuals and couples who are ready to do deep inner work. My approach combines somatic awareness, parts work, and attachment-focused depth therapy to help you access and shift unconscious patterns—not just talk about them.

For individuals, this might mean developing a relationship with your inner critic, the part that shuts down in conflict, or the part that feels compulsive with substances or emotions. For couples, it means identifying the unconscious protective strategies each partner brings into the relationship, and making space for vulnerability, repair, and intimacy.

Sliding scale: apply if you may be eligible

I do not accept insurance, but I am happy to provide a superbill if your insurance offers reimbursement for sessions. I have a limited number of sliding scale spots for couples and individuals, so feel free to inquire during our initial consultation.

My work with couples is a process of constant translation, first helping you agree on the problem at hand and the "rules of engagement". Then, we will work to get back on the same team - the two of you vs. the problem. With individuals, we will spend time getting clear on what deeply held beliefs are causing your symptoms, then strive to repair the wounding that perpetuates your distress.
