My name is Daniel Floyd and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides therapeutic treatment to diverse populations and communities. I specialize in the assessment and treatment of depression, anxiety, stress/ trauma, substance abuse, insomnia, phobias, adjustment issues, and relationship problems. I received my BA in Psychology from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, and my MSW from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA.
I have a background in providing therapy to individuals and families within the Greater New Orleans Region and throughout the Shenandoah Valley. I have over seven years of experience in individual therapy with adults and adolescents using cognitive behavioral techniques, family therapy, marital therapy, solution-focused therapy, and behavioral therapy.
I practice a client-centered therapeutic approach suited to each individual’s needs. I offer an accepting, safe, and supportive environment in which therapy takes place, and I'm dedicated to assisting individuals and families in their pursuit of healthier and happier lives.
