My overarching framework is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and helping people to improve their psychological flexibility. To supercharge that work, I utilize EMDR (Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), Biofeedback/Neurofeedback and the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) of Polyvagal Theory. For grief, I use Worden's Four Tasks of Mourning.
Asking for help and doing the work in therapy to get better is hard. What is harder is struggling with one's mental health alone. That can be a scary place, quicksand, dark. Moral Injury
This group will combine ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) along with readings in the Moral Injury literature and processing. Group will be held weekly and online, for 12 weeks.
