I've spent my career as a therapist helping children, adults, and couples deal with difficult emotions, relationships, and trauma. I practice trauma informed care even when trauma isn't the focus. In my office you will find radical acceptance, compassion, and a fellow traveler on your journey. I understand that starting therapy can be difficult, especially the first time, so I take the time to build a caring relationship. Therapy wont be sterile or rushed or cookie cutter. You can expect to reduce suffering, strengthen your authentic self, challenge beliefs, foster resiliency, and create more space for curiosity and compassion.
My approach is integrative, everyone is an individual and I use several psychological theories and modalities. While I draw heavily from evidence based practices, my underlying approach to therapy is Existential. Through a careful and honest consideration of the human experience we can gain insight, feel emotions in new ways, and create change in our lives.
I have my Masters degree in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Healthy Aging. Aging begins at birth and everything we experience relates in some way to the passage of time. My experience, education, and training has been invaluable while helping patients achieve long term and resilient change. You no longer have to be alone with suffering.

Prenatal Fathers Group
A group for prospective fathers to process the changing emotions and lived experiences of impending fatherhood. This group is appropriate for men that are currently expecting a child or are planning to start a family soon. There is no instruction manual for transitioning to fatherhood, it doesn't happen all at once. It is a journey and it can be lonely. This group offers education, support, and a community of people in the same life stage.

Too often fathers "go it alone" and feel that they should just know how to balance their personal life, professional life, and family life. We live in a culture where it is difficult for men to seek out help with fatherhood, especially from other men, even from our own fathers.
