Parents often reach out when their child is struggling trauma, anxiety, emotional outbursts, or behavior problems at home or school. Some children have experienced stressful or traumatic events and need help processing those experiences. I work with children, teens, and families to help children understand emotions, improve behavior, and strengthen the parent-child relationship. I provide child and family therapy using evidence-based approaches including Child-Centered Play Therapy, Filial Therapy (parent coaching), Cognitive Behavioral Play Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and EMDR. Evening and Saturday appointments are available to better support children and working families. Medicaid Accepted.
When a child is struggling, parents often feel overwhelmed or unsure how to help. Therapy can provide children with a safe place to express feelings, develop coping skills, and build confidence. I work collaboratively with parents so families feel supported while helping their child move toward healthier emotional and behavioral patterns.
