About
Hello! My name is Dania Ebanks, currently an LMSW from The University of Georgia School of Social Work. My particular graduate program focused on the clinical skills required to provide individual, family, and group therapy. My specialties include chemical dependence, grief, and anxiety. I am especially passionate about working with people who are ready to make major life transitions. I truly believe that people are the narrators of their own lives. My therapeutic style can be best conveyed as providing a safe space for exploration of internal growth.
I have completed my certification as a CPS-AD Certified Peer Specialist for Addictive Disease. With this certification and Social Work background, I am able to conduct evidence based group therapy, focused on self directed peer support specifically for individuals within the recovery community.
My primary methods of therapy includes cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused and motivational interviewing; continuously advocating for what the client thinks is best for themselves.
