Hi, I'm Dani - and I am so glad you are here. Taking steps to take care of yourself takes courage. I weave together multiple approaches - from talk therapy to somatic based practices. We will work with mind and body, because healing happens in both. My style is calm and grounding, and I enjoy bringing in humor and laughter when the moment calls for it. I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, shame, depression, grief, life transitions, chronic pain, and sleep issues - in person and via telehealth. I have training through Star Behavioral Health to support military personnel and veterans. I am licensed in IN and NM.
I'm trained in EMDR, CBT (including CBT-Insomnia and CBT-Chronic Pain), ACT, and Somatic Experiencing. I draw on polyvagal theory to help you understand and support your own nervous system - because so much of what we carry lives in the body, not just the mind.
My approach is flexible, warm, and real. I'll support you fully while also gently challenging you when you're ready to grow - because you deserve both.
