Hello!
My work focuses on people who are struggling with issues ranging from depression, anxiety, and trauma I like working with people who are ready to do the work necessary to live a fuller, healthier, and more complete life. I will ask you to do hard things, I will challenge you and I will guide you. I cannot fix you, and I cannot make you do the work, but I can give you the skills to live the life you want to live. I will provide psychoeducation for deeper integration of the skills and concepts we will be utilizing for your care.
I am deeply invested in creating systemic change with people, not just addressing symptoms of mental health. I work collaboratively and holistically, combining Polyvagal and Nervous System work with experiential approaches, including parts work. I view this work as a two phase process. Allowing for complete care of the mind and body
We often get wrapped up in the outcomes we want or need, and when those do not get met we often resort to tactics to get those needs met, even if it means self sabotaging. We try to distract ourselves from the thoughts and feelings we do not like or want, only to have them come back over and over again. Let's find resolution, not distraction.
