Christian Counseling: Experienced with Marriage and Relationship Counseling and Restoration, Sexual Abuse Trauma (all ages), Grief and Loss Support. Experienced with treating children in CYFD, CASA, and CAC. I have provided crisis intervention and therapy for police officers, firefighters, pastors, and military families. I have served as a foster parent and am a mother of five.
My goal is to help clients focus on the Lord throughout sessions, but incorporate breakthrough strategies and interventions that are scientifically and biblically based. I utilize EMDR, Trauma-focused CBT, music, art, anxiety reduction, visualization, meditation, and prayer throughout sessions. For couples, I seek to help restore and heal trauma.
I love seeing marriages and families healed and restored. I strongly believe in the power of prayer and desire for other couples to experience what I and countless others have through restorative practices. In one-on-one sessions I utilize sand tray, art, etc. and provide a plethora of solution-focused resources and compassionate support to clients.
