Working on your mental health can feel uncomfortable and overwhelming, and getting started can be one of the biggest challenges. My clients primarily struggle with anxiety, OCD, school avoidance, behavioral concerns, and intense family dynamics. We work together on decreasing unwanted behaviors, improving relationships, and feeling more satisfied with the life they're living.
I embrace the use of respect, empathy, humor, and authenticity to support my clients through life’s challenges. My clients take the lead to identify their needs and goals, and I draw on experience with CBT, DBT, and the Nurtured Heart Approach to help meet them. I am also trained in EX/RP and I-CBT for OCD.
My time as a therapist has granted me opportunities to work with clients with diverse ages, backgrounds, family dynamics, and with many mental health diagnoses. Together we can explore new ways to navigate relationships, brave life’s challenges, and create the life you want. I look forward to the next steps with you, your child, or your family!
