I'm Dana Thompson, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 6 years of experience dedicated to helping adults improve their well-being and enhance their quality of life. I offer both individual and group therapy for those dealing with symptoms of depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and grief. My expertise lies in supporting individuals facing unexpected life transitions, such as those caused by illness, injury, changes in role identity, separation or divorce, and various forms of loss.
In my practice, I creatively integrate evidence-based intervention strategies, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), relational life therapy, cognitive processing therapy, problem-solving therapy, and emotionally focused therapy, alongside mental health integrative medicine.
