Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or on edge after something difficult happened? Maybe your child is struggling and you’re not sure how to help. Maybe you’re carrying a story you’ve never fully said out loud. Reaching out takes courage, and my goal is to make the process feel safe, collaborative, and human. My style is warm, real, and direct - I'll be honest with you, but always at your pace. Our relationship is central to the work: I pay close attention to how it feels to sit with each other, what helps you feel safer, and what might make things shut down. You don’t have to show up polished or prepared; just show up as you are.
I specialize in trauma across the lifespan - complex trauma, single-event trauma, traumatic loss, medical trauma, attachment wounds, and the kinds of experiences that don’t always get labeled as “trauma” but still change us. I work with kids, teens, and adults, and I also support parents and families navigating the impact of trauma on relationships.
What to expect in session: safety and connection come first. We’ll build trust slowly and intentionally, and I’ll help you stay grounded as we work. I use EMDR, IFS/parts work, body-based strategies, CBT and DBT. With kids, I combine play therapy and EMDR to help them express their experiences and build resilience in a developmentally appropriate way.
Take the first step to help. Dana Rochman now

I pull from various modalities in my work: with children, I often use play and expressive therapies to name feelings and learn body regulation skills. With older clients, we might explore the beliefs that you hold about yourself, and use EMDR therapy to help integrate "stuck" parts that may be getting in your way. Our first task will always be to build trust and ensure you feel seen and supported.
