I am a licensed clinical social worker with almost ten years of experience, currently working as a clinician in private practice and at a small group practice in Briarcliff Manor, NY. Previously, I worked for a Westchester County Agency for six years, where I delivered individual, group and family therapy with respect, empathy and cultural sensitivity. Utilizing a strength-based compassionate, non-judgmental approach in working with clients, I cultivate a safe environment for individuals to discover their motivation to find clarity and make real change and progress.
I have worked with clients of all ages, addressing symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders and feeling stuck. I integrate the family systems model with exploratory, supportive, DBT and CBT modalities. I believe in the importance of seeing every individual within her/his unique micro and macro systems.
I graduated from Hunter School of Social Work, with a master’s degree in Social Work, specializing in Children, Youth and Families and Vassar College, with a BA in Psychology.
