As a psychologist, my job is to help my patients identify problematic patterns, understand formative relationships, and develop self understanding. The greatest predictor of success in therapy is the therapist-patient relationship and finding a therapist with whom you feel understood and can explore painful issues is crucial. The essence of good therapy is empathy, tactful directness, and a collaborative approach to help people make and internalize changes to improve relationships and impart a sense of well-being. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, non-judgmental space where we can explore the past and create a new future.
As a parent, I appreciate the fear & anxiety of having children struggle. I'll work closely with parents to help your child/teen become less anxious or depressed and more resilient and socially comfortable. If a psychological/psychoeducational evaluation is required, I help parents acquire the understanding they need to become their child's best advocate.
My specialties include psychological testing, attachment disorders, grief & loss, EDOs, & PTSD. I also offer ketamine assisted psychotherapy as well as psychedelic therapy intergration. I am Spanish-English bilingual and bicultural.
