About
I am inspired by the innate human drive to heal. This healing is courageous, intimate, and deserving of honor and care. I bring compassion and respect for all the ways we humans adapt to survive. Together, we can find new ways of being that can liberate us from strategies that no longer serve us. I can help you holistically address a number of issues, such as: complex and developmental trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, embodiment and dissociation issues, compulsions, addiction, assertiveness, relationship issues, self-esteem issues, gender, and sexuality.
My practice is rooted in an anti-oppression framework, is somatic (body-oriented), creative, and deeply relational. I have special experience with queer, transgender & GNC/nonbinary, and Intersex people, activists, & athletes. My training includes Sensorimotor Psychotherapy 1, Relational Somatic Healing, Biodynamic Craniosacral, EMDR, Leadership Embodiement.
I work with dynamically with individuals of all ages (adults, adolescents, children) and relationships (couples, triads, etc.) with deep presence and gentle holding. Clients drawn to me are often marginalized in some way and appreciate my open-minded perspective. My couples+ work is trauma and attachment informed, often working with multi-heritage bonds.
