Many of my clients come to their first appointment wanting to make changes in their lives and relationships but are waking up every day with same unhealthy patterns that keep them stuck. Difficulty regulating your emotions - you are angry, irritable, and lashing out. People-pleasing. Stuffing and numbing your feelings. A lifetime of trying to get difficult people to be good to you. Feeling sad, panicky and out of control. Your identity is rooted in others and you feel as if you have lost yourself. Worries and negative looping thoughts such as "I am a bad person; The world feels unsafe; It's all my fault."
I will partner with you to create pathways of healing and wholeness. You will be seen as a unique individual. My style of therapy is empathetic, supportive, interactive, relational, and direct. I have experience and clincal training in EMDR, Flash, and Inner Healing Prayer, which are some of the ways your trauma and pain can be addressed.
We will work together to heal memories, relational wounds, and fear from your past and present, creating new spaces of safety and peace within your body and mind. I counsel from a Christian perspective; however, my clients do choose whether or not to have Christian counseling. It is truly a privilege to be involved in the lives of my clients!
