Clients learn to clarify core values, set goals, identify and overcome barriers, build strategies, solve problems, and celebrate successes.

Good Sense Counseling applies a multi-modal approach to therapy. This means that a variety of evidence-based interventions are applied to strengthen mental health. Some of these interventions include cognitive behavioral therapy, behavior modification, dialectical behavioral therapy, attachment theory, ACES and three step consensus model to address trauma.

Good Sense Counseling knows that life can be overwhelming. This is a safe place for people to work privately on tough issues with respect, empathy, compassion & hope. Core values include diversity & inclusion, education and growth, social service and self-sufficiency. All people are welcome, including those with cultural, faith based and gender preferences.
