Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and I have a variety of clinical experiences consisting of working with teens, adults, elders, and LBGTQ+ clients. I help individuals navigate a variety of mental health concerns, including mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, bereavement, compassion fatigue, adjustment disorders, depression, concerns associated with self-identity, cancer diagnosis, chronic pain, chronic illness, and family/relationship issues. I also have a Master's Level certification in Gerontology.
I view counseling from a person-centered approach; however, I am eclectic in my knowledge base so that I can best adapt to the needs of each client and couple. My easy-going personality enables me to build a trusting and safe environment where individuals feel open to addressing their concerns and achieving successful outcomes.
I believe in respectfully and professionally challenging clients to work outside their comfort zones to continue their journey to improve their overall well-being and life satisfaction.
