Therapy is all about the engagement and relationship with my client. There needs to be a mutual trust and open dialogue in each session. I will provide a non-judgmental environment to explore difficult relationships and other areas of life. I believe in the power of language - the words you choose reflect how others will perceive you, and more importantly how you perceive yourself. We will explore and recognize how the process impacts the content of our lives. I utilize a narrative, CBT and existential therapeutic approach and when necessary, explore how the givens of our existence impact our daily lives.
I work with individuals, couples and families ages 12 and up. I emphasize the use of life skills that require practice. I will assist in developing a healthy sense of self, and I will work hard to better understand the underlying issues by exploring the symbolism and hidden meaning that impact your interactions and relationships.
