I work with patients who are struggling in their important relationships; often this is related to having a history of trauma. I specialize in diagnoses such as PTSD, bipolar disorder, borderline disorder, narcissistic and other personality disorders. Although I use a variety of approaches, primarily I work psychodynamically, which is a type of therapy that focuses on relationships. Having a safe place to talk, in a warm and supportive environment, is crucial. I enjoy working with my patients as they find their way to a richer and more fulfilling life.
To have satisfying relationships, and to feel comfortable in our own skins are the kinds of goals that I work with my patients to achieve. I will work with you to identify what you are struggling with and to help you achieve your goals in a way that feels meaningful and achievable. I work with both individuals and with couples.
