Many of my clients are men or women who are going through some type of life challenge. Many of these individuals are looking to talk to someone about their relationship, their marriage, their divorce...many are fathers or mothers looking for advice. I have noticed more and more men have tried therapy in the last few years, Many people are at a breaking point, and need help. Sometimes it just takes one person who hears you, understands you and is there to help guide you. The next step is to reach out.
I am licensed in PA with experience in treating depression, anxiety, helping families heal/reconnect, parenting, coping with grief and loss, burnout and creating a work-life balance. I also specialize in vicarious trauma. I work with workers/therapists/nurses who work with traumatized children who have a hard time separating their work and personal life.
I also work in the field as a Director of a family therapy program, as well as an Adjunct Professor of Psychology. I love this work and I love helping people and families heal. Recently, I helped a person apply (and WIN!) an ADA accommodation to work from home.:)
