Initiating therapy can be a challenging process. Whether this is your first time looking for a counselor, or you've had one before, picking who you want to work with can be daunting. The initial sessions are meant to build trust and rapport, setting the foundation for a comfortable environment to open up and share your experience.
I offer therapy to clients dealing with problems like anxiety, depression, addiction, difficulty communicating, and general adjustment to life’s stressors and unexpected changes. My approach is strongly based in Cognitive-Behavioral therapy. It helps to address the way we think, and how those thoughts can impact our feelings and behavior.
My primary goals are to allow each client time and space to open up, process their experience, and look for ways to cope, make changes, and get additional support if needed. If this sounds like a good fit for you, please contact me to set up a phone consultation to see if we’d work well together.
