I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that specializes in anxiety, depression, and trauma (PTSD). What we focus on will depend on your priorities, although I tend to think of my work as "working myself out of a job," with the expectation that you will get to the point where you won't need to see me anymore. I'm strongly influenced by mindfulness, stoicism, trauma-informed, and person-centered approaches.
During sessions I draw heavily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Cognitive Processing Therapy. My clinical work includes 6 years of non-profit and community mental health work before shifting into full time private practice in 2020.
Finding a therapist can feel hard. The hardest part is usually that first call or email. Reach out to me today and let's start this work together.
