About
Dan Becker (he/him/his) is a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience in helping clients deal with a wide variety of issues including depression, anxiety, panic, trauma and its related symptoms, grief and loss, self-esteem, motivation, life transitions, interpersonal issues, substance use issues, stress and anger management, emotional regulation and somatic symptoms, among others. He has a deep understanding of how trauma and other mental health challenges can hold us back from the life we want to live and is here to assist you in finding more peace, stability, empowerment, progression, connection and joy in your journey.
Dan draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strengths-Based, Gestalt, Motivational Interviewing, Somatic modalities and Expressive Arts to deliver treatment that is grounded in Mindfulness practices and a Person-Centered approach, which emphasizes authenticity and non-judgemental empathetic listening.
Dan is passionate about helping clients find healing and actualization into their fullest potential, while holding a safe and nurturing space for clients to explore their current challenges with fresh perspectives and coping tools that can support and strengthen them along the way.
